Designed a brand proposal for "Jonia Animazione" (Jonia animation), an entertainment company that has already been operating in the ionian territory for years.

We designed a brand proposal for Jonia Animazione (Jonia Animation), a company that operates in the entertainment industry.

We aimed at improving the image of the company, suggesting a unique and distinctive brand design able to efficiently describe the activity of the company and closer to the graphic idea used in the past.

Jonia Animazione works in the "jonico-etneo" territory (a wide area around the Etna volcano bathed by the Ionian sea). For this reason the company decided to promoted itself with the slogan "Un vulcano di idee per le tue feste esplosive" (a volcano of ideas for your explosive parties).

The brand tries to represent the peculiarity of the company: consisting in an inexhaustible source of ideas and resources, being explosive and overwhelming, just like an active volcano.
For this reason the image of a volcano deriving from the joining of the letters "J" and "A" (Jonia Animazione initials) creates the brand in solid colours.

The letter "A" represents the volcano and the colour sprays that come out of the volcano form the letter "J". Together this creates a party scenario in which the colour sprays can be intended as fireworks, colour drops or streamers.

Furthermore, the ellipse placed under the volcano represents the sea in the picture. The volcano and the sea describe the territory where the company works.

To conclude, the whole composition can be interpreted as a common symbol for a party: the party hat! The letter "A" and the underlying ellipse compose the main section of the hat and the coloured ribbons on the brim enrich the effect.
