Designed a Book cover for "Le Foto Salvate" (the saved pictures) written by Tosca Pagliari. We have also designed coordinated bookmarks and promotional posters.

Tosca Pagliari is an emerging writer who has debuted with the novel "Le foto salvate" ("the saved pictures").

We designed the book cover illustration coordinating it with the graphic of promotional posters and bookmarks. We wanted to create a very original graphic but also one related to the context of the book.

  • Photo mosaic

    We adopted the photo mosaic technique using 4 different photos combined into one to create the basic illustration: the house, the tree on the grass, the old bike and the sky.
    There are about 2500 tiles that create the final image and they have been selected from a set of 500 photos closely related to the themes of the book. It's easy to discover a lot of photos representing Tuscany and Sicilian panoramas, flowers, faces and some other symbolic elements of the novel.
