In the initial version of our online portfolio we decided to customize the aspect of the most common error pages: 404 (file not found), 500 (internal server error) and 503 (web site under maintenance).
The whole idea was to design a particular illustration for every error page.
These illustrations follow the theme of the space voyage adopted for the website graphics.
Furthermore, every illustration is ironically connected to the error situation that it represents. For example the illustration provided with the 404 error page (file not found) is a telescope which alludes the research in the space depths.
